Guidance for RBI Grade B DEPR Exam is rarely available anywhere on the internet. I am listing here some must-read books for RBI Grade B DEPR Phase - I. As you know the question paper is not available anywhere but since I have appeared in the exam I know which books can help you the most.

This exam is something like NET Economics Paper two exam where you need to know Economics only but the question pattern is different. In the NET exam each question carries equal marks but in DEPR exam questions carry different marks like one marks, two marks, three marks or four marks maximum. Another difference is that the theoretical portion of Economics has more weightage in NET exam but quantitative portion like Mathematical Economics and Econometrics has more weightage in DEPR Phase - I. To be precise, numerical from Mathematical Economics and Econometrics plays a decisive role in the exam as they generally carry more than one marks.
